Related: MP101 & Crashing Issues

I think these issues are very closely related.

I found some interesting things.  When I had just my music (FLAC) and dvd files in Media Center, it would crash in about 10 minutes or less after starting up.  With just music, no crash after a day and MP101 use.  It appears that the DVD handling is not quite sufficient and is crashing.  I also know that the locate on hard disk function doesn't work--and I use this function if I can.

With the slowness of MP101 access, it seems to work better without the DVDs.  I'm thinking the DVDs are causing MC to go crazy and slow down.  Also, when (with just music) browsing the songs on a CD, it is almost instantaneous.  It's the browsing of albums / artists / etc. that seems slower.  I'm referring to clicking All when it lists the albums and then it is very fast when scrolling the songs there.

How exactly do I get a good and not gigantic log to post?  I tried a few things but am not quite sure.  I could try importing just DVDs and get a log when it crashes.

Search for "crash" in the log and post the last few lines.
