Oh, duh! Of course
I'm sorry, I completely blanked there!

Aw :(
I guess I'll try a feature request then (or adding my +1 to one, if it already exists)

Thank you!

reading through this thread im amazed how much i ones understood from skinning.
ah well. after many years ive been playing around with my old skin and enjoying it. there is one thing i cant find, maybe it is here in this thread, or in the wiki, or my understanding is very rusty but i did not see it.

in attachment there is the upperborder from two views, view 1 is grey and not selected, and view 2 is white (the original colour) and selected. the first view gets a layer over it, is there a place to change the colour that the not selected view gets.

thanks to all the people putting there knowledge in threads like this

 :)

Hello Gappie,
it seems this board has few readers / little activity. I am trying to catch up on Skin-developments. That's easy. I'm not an expert but I think I have an answer for your issue.
Your screencapture shows 2 Views, created with topmenu: View -> Split View -> Show 2 Views + Rows. Right?
Each View has a 'Viewheader' (see xml-entry) with default 'HeaderBackground' color and a 'Text' color used for an inactive bar.
That's all you need I think. From Jappie to Gappie :)

wow, thank you very much Jappie  8)
i made this skin nearly 20 years ago. so a lot has changed i looked into the standard skin items and found nothing there. so i peaked in some of the new skins, and there it was ViewHeader.
that is exactly what i need.

Thank again
