Problem with Theater View
« on: July 25, 2007, 05:09:57 am »

Hi

Everytime when I use the Theater view mode everything works ok for a time but after I do st. the lower part freezes and I can only scroll in the upper part. You can it see on the "Live and Let Die" letters. I tried also the Obsidian skin, so it's not the problem of Too Blue. I think it happens when I change from the now playing album to an other album (so when the music plays and I switch around the albums.

Thx in advance

I see this too when I use Gforce visualizations. If you hit the F11 button to cycle the views, does this clear up? This works for me.

This should really go as a bug report, as it has been bugging me forever, as well as other people.

How does one submit a bug? Email J River or will they just see this thread?

I think they look at this thread, but they really try to help you, like Yoabing who help me with a TV problem.

Is it only when G-Force is running?

I can't reproduce it.  Any tips or a step-by-step?

Thanks.

For me, it only happens when using g-force. If I turn off open-gl in g-force then that will fix it too.

J River says its g-forces fault and g-force says its j river.

J River says its g-forces fault...
I don't believe we've said that, but we also don't have enough information to be able to say.

Are your versions of MC and G-force current?

No, not officially, but it was the impression that I got when I responded to a similar post about a year ago.

Here is my original link: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=37142.msg253662#msg253662

G-force and MC are both at current versions.

The problem must be st. with playing now display, because exactly the lower part ( playing now part) freezes. I turned of G-force and it worked.
