Ripping CD's To A Certain Location
« on: July 28, 2007, 03:18:51 am »

I'm new here and to the software. For the most part this is the best software I've ever used. I was a longtime user of Musicmatch. Since Yahoo took it over and changed it. It has been ruined. Anyway I hope I'm asking this question in the right place?

When I rip a CD. I want the tracks to go into the music library on my D: drive. I have put the settings as this. Yet, For some reason the tracks keep going to the music file on the C: Drive. Can anyone tell me why this is?   :D ;D ::)

Welcome aboard the board....

In the top tool bar, click on: Tools > Options > File location > Ripping, Recording, and other audio.

You have three options:

1. The base directory where all ripped music will be ripped to.
2. A folder naming template.
3. A file naming template.

Set those and forget about them :)
