I used to run MC 11 on my machine. However, after a severe system crash (nofault of MC) I didn't reinstall it. I want to upgrade to MC 12 now.

How can I do that without having to pay $39.98? Afterall, I am a registered user of MC 11.

You'll just need to install MC11.1 and restore your license to get the upgrade price.
