after changing the display name of a field, you will most likely need to clear the cache by restarting MC so as to see the new display name show up.
watch out for any wierdness going on, as noted in
this post.
re. [last skipped] and [skip count]
[skip count] increments by 1 whenever a track is stopped
before it reaches 50% of its duration. "Stopped" means stopped, no matter how it happens. You could close MC while the track is playing, start playing another track, go back to the previous/next track, or you could press the stop button. Any of these actions while less than 50% played will increment [skip count] by 1 and note the date/time in [last skipped]. If the track is more than 50% played, then [number plays] and [last played] are updated instead.
It's well documented that in my, very humble opinion, skip count should only update if the the "Next" >> function is used to skip to the next track. I don't find the data all that useful as to my mind, it is far too clouded by other, legitimate reasons for stopping a track that do not count as "skips"
