Song volume Normalizer and Touch Screen Skin ?
« on: August 27, 2007, 01:53:22 am »

I would like to know if Media Jukebox has a built in mp3 sound level normalizer and if there is a skin available that has control buttons large enough to support a touch screen?  Thank you for you answers! Please be specific and add links if possible.

In the DSP studio you can find a setting, called Replay Gain (http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/Replay_Gain), for correcting difference in dynamics for songs. You will have to analyze all songs in your library using the Tools > Advanced Tools > Analyze Audio. This will produce information per song in the Database that is used to correct the Volume of MC during playback. You can read all about it in the mentioned link.

Don't know about the Touchscreen skin.
