Any thoughts on making video available over Tivo?  Today I have MC to manage music and pics and then I need Tivo desktop to serve video back up to my Tivo.

I would love to have one tool for all of it.

I'd love to dump TiVo Desktop in favor of MC -- as long as it can do TiVoToGo and GoBack (with DivX support). I like those new features.

I do use it for moving shows from tivo to my ipod, but I'd like to only have to fire it up before a trip.

I have a tuner card in my PC. For anything I need portable, I simply record it directly and use a post-converter (GB-PVR does these exceptionally well). It's faster than downloading from the TiVo.

if there are legality concerns, what about the ability to play videos back to the tivo from my pc? I mean you are 3/4 of the way there with the beacon and visibility of MC to the Tivo.

On my mac i use Tivotool which lets me sent videos to the TV. It's open source and seems like it works pretty well.

Any news on this?  I would love to be able to use MC to interface with my TiVo, but sending video to the TiVo is far more important to me than audio or photos.
