I have a couple of problems with the Analyze Replay Gain tool and would appreciate any thoughts / solutions. I've ripped my entire CD collection to MP3 at 320 high quality (approx 3000 tracks - 29GB) and am now in the process of tidying them all up.

I first tried running the replay gain tool through the whole lot overnight, but it seems it did a couple of hundred and then stopped - no errors or anything, just didn't go any further.

Next I tried doing it in batches of a few hundred at a time. It finishes ok, but it seems to randomly miss some, so when you play the track with Replay Gain enabled it plays it at |PLS|19DB - my speakers only just coped!! If you then analyse the track again separatley it works fine.

Has anyone come across the same problem?
I'm using 8.0.336 on W2K SP2

Yeah the same thing happened to me

I some cases MJ even hung my system, so I had to resart :S
