It has always been interesting to go to new lands and see how people live and there customs. I would say most people in the united states do not know how most people live, and morals and customs are much different (sometimes for the better).
No I am not well traveled out side of the United states, but I have been in Countries Like Germany, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Saudi, Granada, Mexico (near Fort Bliss Texas) And Washington D.C.
I Love The History Channel, And National Geographic Channel, But is always nice to see things in real life Like the great wall in china, the pyramids in Egypt And Many unknown but scenic spots.
One of my dreams since I was a Kid was simply to Skin dive and watch the unseen world we have around us, and never get the chance to see. Today I was talking to a famous diver Charles Zimmaro Who has been diving on some of the famous ship wrecks since 1966 and also has been diving on the Texas Tower #4 Wreckage For Over 35 Years. The way he talks about the sea is like a adventure.
For fathers day this year I put up a web site
www.TheTexasTowers.Com It tells the story of the men who died on it. My father was on it and got off it just before it went down. Dad looked at the pictures on the website (when he was lucid, He was diagnosed with alzheimer's recently) and mom told me he started to cry when he was remembering his friends who died.
My dad was not normally one to cry, always keeping a stern face thru all the turmoil people go thru in there normal life. A Picture can be a powerful thing conjuring up all kinds of feelings both sad and happy moments.
Recently I started digging thru all my pictures I have taken since I owned a camera, and I started Scanning them into digital format. One day I may get them all up on my website before I pass-on or the paper they are on turns colors and fade.
Thanks for the pictures Yaobing, they are really something to look at.
