i often turn it on top hits. my settings for it are
- 5 stars
- not played within the last 48 hours
- limit to 3 songs per artist, 250 songs total

of course, everyone's will be a little different. that's what makes it so great.

This is my most-used playlist, and more than any view.  Reason is, unless I am actively exploring for new music, I don't want to be bothered searching through 80% of my library.  At the same time, I want to load my favorite (5,000) tracks into playing now in some new (non-random) order that strikes me at that particular moment.  Top hits allows me to do that quickly and powerfully.

I also appreciate being able to EDIT the parameters on the fly.  Sometimes I want to see every song I've ever played (num plays > 0), sometimes I just want to see all the 5's.
