"session fixation error" and other things....
« on: October 06, 2007, 01:32:50 pm »

Hokay,
I've been trying to burn other things than coasters (got plenty of them already) but I keep getting an error message: "session fixation error writing lead-out.". Additionally, my disks consistently burn with one mp3 file less being reported by MC12 than what's on the playlist --- however, the disk does contain  all the playlist files. Evidently a counting error by MC12!
And lastly, when I screen the burned disk I'll often find that some, but not all, of my mp3 files have 00-0 for duration and 0 for a bit-rate.
Go Figga'!
Guess I could use some help...
Thanks,
Fred

Have you tried burning CDs with another program on the same machine? It sounds to me that there may be a problem with the burner. Trying to burn with another program would prove or disprove that.

Good luck.

mlefebvre,
Thanks for your response.
I've used Nero 7 many, many times without running into this problem.
Maybe my burner's croakin'!
I'm using a Plextor PX-716A and have also had problems in this regard with my NEC 3500AG.
I guess what I'm really looking for is an elementary MP3 burner which would burn MP3 or Cda's and their associated playlists.
Again Thanx,
Fred
