What is a parameter under the encoder path?
« on: August 15, 2002, 10:54:04 pm »

I have 8.0. What is a parameter which is in the box under the path
of the encoder in the settings.
So far I've only heard 1 song in a row that doesn't mess up one way or
another. I'm calling out. I wrote 4 messages already. Am looking for
all settings on my compaq presario 1998 and how I find what my system
consists of. Calling out.

It's information for the encoder, usually to define the settings of conversion/compression/etc. For instance, if you use LAME to create mp3 files, you might put:
%IN %OUT --alt-preset extreme
...in the parameter line. More info about parameters should be available in the documentation of the encoder.
