A computer's weird behavior
« on: October 08, 2007, 02:12:31 pm »

One of our computers doesn't download things directly into MC properly.  If I click Download on a skin, for instance, it will bring up the download box but it will just stay at Downloading and never start getting the file.  My personal computer on the same network works fine.

Try a different browser just to see.  Not an MC specific issue though, I would assume?

I'm in Firefox and browsing the skins.  I click download and the download box pops up.  Save or Open?  When I select open, it lists Package Installer ? and then MC immediately pops up with its Downloading dialog box.  So it seems like it's MC that isn't able to download the file.  This computer didn't have LAME either so I had to manually find the URL to the necessary file and download it.
