Again, Auto size columns: broke.

I have not yet tested this build but just to repeat a comment I made earlier...

In my opinion the changes you made to auto-size columns were perfect in 12.0.318. Please consider restoring the algorithm to that in 318.

Can anyone testing beta versions greater than build 338 say if the bug has been fixed yet and we will see it sometime (next community release of MC12).  It's been an annoying month of using MC12 with it broken.

What Actually Is The Issue?

I Like To View My Music Normally In "Detail" View So It Is Important To Me Not To Need To Adjust The Columns Every Time The List Changes.

I Know When I Look At The List Duration Is Cut Off Showing "Dura."

If You Dbl Click On It I Was Thinking It Should At least Expand To Show The Full Header Name. Then If You Double Click On It Again Maybe Should Go Back To Show "Dura." Again.

I Know it does not always act The Way I Would Want The Fields to Show, Some Shorter Than Others, Some Too Short..

It Would Be Nice If This Was User Selectable How It Acts Or The Width.

Like A Percent On How Wide It Should Be, So If You Had 100 Files And Your Setting Would be 100% then All Fields Would Widen To 100% Of All Fields. If It Was Set At 80% Then a Max Of 20% May Be Cut Off.

Also Sometimes I Always Want To See The Full Header Name Depending On The Field

If I had a way to post a picture, I'd show you.  But, it truncates most columns now to show only 20% to 50% of the values for each column (as I've said many times in all public releases since 318).  Even truncates the 2-digit track # column to 1-digit (it's really stupid now and unusable and I've had to turn it off for over 1 month now).

Lucky you...but, that doesn't hide the fact that I and others do (see the issue) since they made modifications to the sizing algoritm a few releases back (329, I think).  When I revert back to 318 build, auto sizing works again (so, again, something changed).

It's mostly fixed in the latest beta builds but I still see truncation in the Name and Artist fields.

I think they do have a cut off at some point

I do think Artist Is a bit Small, Since Id3v1.1 Had A Max Length Of 30 Chrs, And MC is cutting off about 10% Of The Artist Names I have In The List about 22chrs are displayed.
