How do I play files with m4a extension?
« on: October 30, 2007, 11:05:52 am »

OK, did that. It works perfect, thanks. It even installed the license for me after purchasing, keep it up.

One question though, why doesn't it play files with 'm4a' extension? I couldn't find what to do.

You need either Quicktime or appropriate DirectShow playback filters installed.  DirectShow is preferred, though M4A uses Quicktime's engine by default because it is assumed that most people will be coming from iTunes and already have Quicktime installed (in which case it Just WorksTM).  Read this: http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/DirectShow_Playback_Guide

I think I'll add some stuff in there about M4A since that is a frequent question...
