hand held disconnect questions
« on: December 18, 2007, 05:55:30 pm »

I'm using an old Creative Zen Micro and the device stays docked even after I close MC12.  It used to disconnect after I closed MC11 and earlier.  Is there a way to disconnect the device w/out having to close MC?

There should be an eject button in the Action Window.  Will that do it?

I just connected my handheld and I don't have an eject button, only: Burn disc, Rip disc, sync handheld, camera, build playlist and tag.

I've also checked the options for the device and don't see an eject.

Also I forgot to ask: When I sync playlists to my handheld and I have different playlists currently on the device I lose the playlists, but not the tracks. e,g.  I have a music playlists that I don't want to change for a month or so, but I have audio books that I change every week or so.  I always lose the previous playlists.  Is that a problem w/ my handheld or is there something I can do in MC12?

There should be an eject button in the Action Window.
That may only appear for iPods.

What happens if you just remove the device?  If the files have finished transferring, there shouldn't be a problem.

I guess I always feel like something will break if I just unplug it, but it works that way fine.  Cheers.
