Did any of you guys ever try out Movielens.org?

The site uses collaborative filtering to help you find new movies based on your own ratings and the ratings of others.

It works. I have recently seen some excellent films.

You could potentially use their algorithm, which as far as I understand is open source, to correlate anything (Video, audio).

A server database combined with collaborative filtering would be an excellent value added for JRiver MC. And it would fit right into the main reason why people buy this product: How to find and organize media.
