I have had my signature removed on several occasions and would like to know what the forum policy is on signatures.  I really wouldn't mind but I see other non-J River people who have lengthy signatures pointing back to their own references.  I started with a sentence and a URL...and it was removed.  So I put just the short URL.  It was also removed.  What am I supposed to think?  I had an image I used to outline my posts (following my black/yellow lightning theme) and it was removed 3+ times.  I only found out that it was "unacceptable" when I specifically asked about it.

In my opinion, the last fm and other signature images are unnecessary and slow page loading times/clutter pages much more than a little link that means a lot to me.  Or much more than a little black/yellow gradient which simply spices my posts up a bit.  The other images provide information on what the person is listening to and link back to hugely popular sites.  Everyone markets these huge sites and I can't even market my own posts with some tasteful graphics.  Here I am listing a little site I made--one that I would absolutely want in my signature--and it gets removed repeatedly.

I can provide a list of others who are using their signature without having it get deleted.  What is their secret?

Can I please put a link to my Christmas list tracking site that sells nothing?  It is Christmas and everyone who I've shown it to has loved it.  It is very handy this time of year.  Again, it sells nothing.  I guess I'm singled out.  No advertising in this signature.  Advertising?  Isn't any third party link advertising?

I'm not complaining about anyone else's.  I just can't see why I have to be singled out.  It seems very fair that people can put a little link relating to the person in.  Can I put my About Me page?  It has links to Gift Pathways and much more but is mainly about ME with a short biography.
