File Associations not working in Vista
« on: December 02, 2007, 04:13:52 am »

I've got MC supposedly set to take control of the default files
in Vista, however WMP still opens alot of them  :(

Open WMP and uncheck the settings for the file types there.

I don't think WMP has such an area?
I can change it under 'Program Defaults' in Vista's control panel to open MC instead of WMP
however that still means  the options->tools->file associations area
isn't working.

It's under Tools/Options/File types in WMP.

Hmm, can't find that on this one,
I get to Tools->Options, and am presented with many tabs,
but I can't find File assocations anywhere in them.
