What would be the best way to add an option to MC's theater view that would restart Media Center? I use a read only copy of the server library so I need a good way to easily restart MC when movies are added.
I was thinking a simple batch file that would just close, pause for 8 seconds, and start up again. I'm having various issues getting the batch file working properly. I'll probably use the same batch file in the task scheduler and have MC restart in the middle of the night. I even wonder if I could have it restart MC a few times each day as long as the computer is idle--which I would hope would mean not playing video. Of course when MC restarts, with my setup that means it loses bookmarks on videos. I have another thread going about bookmarks so hopefully I'll get a good suggestion there.
