I've had this problem since at least 404:
The two fields here used to be of equal size. Now, most of the time, it's as it looks in the screenshot - although sometimes it does move back to the middle (as symbolised by the dashed blue line). It is quite annoying. I want it in the middle all the time! (strange that these fields aren't user resizeable too).
