Adding Top-Level View Schemes
« on: January 15, 2008, 03:44:07 pm »

In the top of the tree, there are 3 big buttons for "Audio," "Images," and "Video."  I accidentally deleted one of them, and I was wondering if there is any way to add them back.  Any time I right click and "add view scheme" it always ends up appearing down a level instead of at the top with a big button.

How did you manage to do that?
There are people here that would pay good money to be able to do that ;)

It was just a right click, "delete."  Not sure if it matters, but the library had initially been imported and upgraded from v11.  I would try copying your library directory and then pointing MC to it as a new library from within the library manager.

MC will only let you delete top-level (Audio/Image/Video) view schemes that have no files.  As soon as you add data to the deleted view scheme it will return.  For example, if you deleted the top-level Image view scheme as soon as you import a photo it should return.  At least I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Nicely pointed out.
I created a rule that would never be matched in Video and was able to delete one
