Problem: tags lost on sync to iPod classic 160Gb
« on: January 20, 2008, 07:20:29 am »

I have some TV shows that I've ripped from DVD to sync to my iPod classic 160Gb.

I've set everything up so that the Series / Season / Episode / Track # are correct, and view fine within MC 12 (410).

Media sub-type is set to 'TV Shows'. Media Type is 'Video'.

However, when I sync (after an Initialise), the iPod shows everything in one big folder. The Series / Season tags are lost. The ordering is also wrong, though I suspect that's related to the above.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I'd like to use MC in place of (spit) iTunes. How do I get it so that it shows the TV shows / seasons in seperate folders like before?

Did you update your iPod firmware to 1.1? MC12 doesn't support fw 1.1 I think. I hope they will soon.

No, thankfully I saw that post about the new firmware buggering up MC before I "upgraded", so I'm still running 1.0.3.  ;)
