CCCP Audio Low

With PowerDVD I always adjusted a setting to increase the volume. With CCCP I can't seem to find the setting that does the same thing--even though I see a dynamic range compression checkbox on DTS and another item. They don't seem to make any difference. Where can I adjust this?

It is probably due to having 32-bit output enabled on a sound card that has crappy drivers that can't handle it (such as everything Creative for example).

Ahaa, so it would pad 24-bit audio with zeros, which just lowers the volume, right? I'm using a Creative Audigy 2 in my desktop but the system I'm worried about isn't. It's using onboard and I don't think it's Creative. Never seen onboard creative.

Like I said... Read the link. The first two "topics" will explain everything you asked.
