since some time the total on the bottom of the Standard View page on my MC12 installation reads 89943... and no update whatsoever when I add new tracks

after importing new album data into the database, it tells me that I have 95412 tracks in the database (or something like that) and gets updated with every
track I import

any hint where that problem may be? or do I have to re-create the database again? (which would be a night job)
