music is slow
« on: May 18, 2003, 08:20:44 am »

I recorded a radio show from the Internet using Total Recorder and stored it as an MP3 (192 kbps).  Using MJ's Media Editor, I edited the file.  At one point I converted the file's sampling rate from 48000 to 44100 khz.  After editing, I converted the file back to an MP3 (192 kbps).

The file now runs slow.  The music and voice are literally slowed down, which of course sounds awful.  Originally the file was 1 hour 13 minutes long, and now it is 1 hour 20 minutes long.   I'm wondering what I did wrong and how I can correct the problem.

I didn't see any similar posts.
