Media Jukebox crashing [solved]
« on: February 24, 2008, 02:56:52 pm »

I have just installed Media Jukebox, and I loved the player! Simply loved it... But then all of the sudden it crashed after I had listen through half a song. I can't even listen through 3 minutes without this program crashing!
I don't know what the reason is, but I figured maybe you could help me solve the problem.

When I installed the player, I installed everything that came with it on another partition than Windows Vista (32-bit). I changed settings so that the Media Player wouldn't dare thouch the tags of my library, then I imported my whole library of 132GB Mp3s. No problem, everything worked fine, and Media Jukebox hasn't touch any tags... yet.
I also use a 3. party plugin from Last.fm so I can scrobble my music. That's another reason I could go from iTunes to Jukebox: It's supported by Last.fm! :D
I use the standard skin, but not standard column preset. I made my own, which should not affect the players stability at all.

This is all I know...

Here's my specs:

Manufacturer: MSI
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3.0GHz
Memory: 2046MB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA XFX GeForce 8800 GT
Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio
Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Basic (32-bit, soon upgrading to 64-bit)

The last.fm plug-in from their site will crash if you aren't logged in.  Better if you can uninstall it.

Ah, I have to log in to the Audioscrobbler as well. It's working good so far.
