The download link (from downloads.pcworld.com) is to MediaJukebox12.exe.  That program is free.  It's a full version.  What makes you believe it's a trial program?

I just tried the download.  It's MJ 12.0.20.  It's a full version.

12.0.29 is on the MJ site here:

Yes, I agree its a Full FREE program.
BUT
when I run it..it tells me that an upgrade is available..when I upgrade..boom its not free

Or is it that I got confused? one is the Media jukebox and the other might be the media player?
Guess I have to do some reading and find out the differences

Thanks for the fast reply..

I figured it was 2 different programs when..my post was moved to this forum

thanks again

You're welcome.  It sounds like MJ12 is enough.  They're similar, but MC12 does video and images.

Took me a while to figure out that they are two different programs.
The first word/name confused me. MEDIA
Guess I just did not pay close attention
one is Media Player
other is Media Center

And when I click/clicked on a file that is not audio, ie avi or video..that is why
it asked if I wanted to upgrade.
Me, not knowing that it was a different program, Got all confused
Things are clear now
Thanks again...esp for your help in clarifying and for Media Player.

Technically the free one is called Media Jukebox rather than Media Player.  ;)
