media center window too big, and I can't resize it
« on: March 05, 2008, 10:54:19 am »

I'm using MC12, windows xp sp2.    A while ago my media center window became too big (when in default size -- when I maximize the size appropriately takes up the whole window, but when I restore the window the bottom of the window goes far below my visible display).  How can I resize the window?  When I push Alt-spacebar to get the resize/move options,  resize is shaded out.

Is there is a registry entry somewhere where the default size is stored?

Thanks for any help.

Could you use the Alt-Space Move option to get to one of the borders,
then resize them?
(Using the arrow keys to move the window around)

Grab the top edge of the window and drag it down.  Then click and drag on the top bar (not the edge) and drag it up.  Repeat as needed.

We've all been there.  Glad it's working.
