Change CDDB parameter before ripping
« on: August 05, 2002, 09:59:01 am »

How can I change some of the CDDB fields before ripping a CD?
For example, I want to use a different genre of a different artist name for each track.

I thought I could do so by selecting the properties of the CD tracks, in the CD view. However it does not work: I can make the changes, but they as discarded as I rip the CD.

I am doing something wrong? Thanks for your feedback.

I was also used to this kind of action (edit the cddb entries, rip, encode). Since I use MJ it's easy enough to edit the tags afterwords. Even better than before ripping, because I can to everything I want in one task (replay gain, renaming, album art).
