That's nice. You get twice the amount for free.

(Seriously, you didn't provide any details. For example: Which import method did you use? Import settings? File formats? How the files are organized? Do the file folders contain any playlists or cue files? Are any network paths included in the import folders? Do the duplicate files contain exactly the same library data, especially are the "Filename" fields exactly identical? Have you configured any "virtual" Handhelds that point to a disk location?)

I've now also noticed that most of my music listing, now each song is doubled.

there is definetly something wrong with this upgrade.  As I mentioned in another thread, it also wiped out my playlists and assigned cover art to
songs that I don't have cover art for.

How can we easily remove all duplicates.  I have over 4000 songs I would have to go through.

Could you answer Alex's questions?  We don't even know what build you're using.

All I did was to install your current release period.
The next thing I saw when the application came up and I clicked on
audio, was all my song listings had duplicates all the way down.

Compare the file locations and name for two identical files.  Are they identical?  Same file name?

You can always restore a backup.  MC makes them automatically.

Is one done automatically before an upgrade and if so, where do I find it.
Don't know it all as most.

Also, why would it do this when a new release is installed.

File/Library/Restore.

MC has Help inside the program.

It's hard to say what you're seeing.  I've asked a few questions and received no answers.

I had dupes last week, and i think it came from a failed import

During the import MC12 became non responsive.

Jim:

I don't understand what you're looking for in a question or answer.
I downloaded your recent release and it caused my audio list to
duplicate all the way down and now I need a way to remove them.

Is there something else you need to know ?

Jim:

I ran the restore and reload the previous release which removed all the duplicates but now in place of my cover art there is a yellow spot with
a "x" in it??  How do I get my cover art back where it should be.
