Hi,

I have MC 11 and want to use the MP3 encoder. It told me at first this application was not installed, so I checked on the Webpage for plugins. I did not find the plugin for MC11, but the one for MC10, so I installed that one. Installation worked fine, and the lame file is copied in the proper directory. However, i still cannot use the encoder within MC11.

How do I make it work?

Little additional info...the options menu when trying to apply the plugion in MC11 works fine and the encoding also starts, but the gives an error message where it also asks me if I want to install the mp3 encoding plugin..I click yes...but nothing happens

MC11 should download the encoder automatically when you first try to rip a CD and encode to MP3 or when you convert another format to MP3.

Try uninstalling the encoder plug-in and do one of those.

Make sure you have the latest MC11.1.  Link is in the FAQ on the MC12 board.
