media schedular doesn't stop recording

I does start recording on time, but keeps going and doesn't stop.

Media Jukebox PLUS 8.0.396
Install Path: g:\Program Files\Media Jukebox\

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 1817 MHz MMX
Memory: Total - 523 MB, Free - 219 MB
OS: Microsoft Windows 2000  Workstation 5.0 Service Pack 3 (Build 2195)

Internet Explorer: 5.50.4807.2300
ComCtl32.dll: 5.50.4807.2300
Shlwapi.dll: 5.50.4807.2300
Shell32.dll: 5.00.3502.6144
wnaspi32.dll: Internal ASPI Layer

Are you sure you have the syntax correct? For example... /stop <> /Stop.

what syntax? I am just telling the schedular to record from the line in for 120 min, and it keeps going afterwards.

Your right...in this case there isn't (when using a built in task). Are you sure your ending date/time is correct? If your (Stop) time & date are correct and it's still ignoring it (that would be a bug as well) then you'll need to use the Custom task. So in Media Scheduler you select "Start Custom Task" where case IS important. Here's a link to mjextman option switches. I see nothing about stopping the recording...except for powering down MJ, which would do the same thing.

Mine doesn't work either with v8 build 394. Doesn't appear to start or stop recording out of the Line-In port (I didn't actually have a signal to the port, but it should still create a "blank" wav file). The "Start MJ" works fine though.

The Scheduler does record fine from the line in, but it just doesn't stop  :'(

Can you fix it, please?

I have the same problem with

Media Jukebox PLUS 8.0.394

Memory: Total - 121 MB, Free - 31 MB
OS: Microsoft Windows XP  Workstation 5.1  (Build 2600)

it will start MJ but not start recording - it just blinks in the task tray? canany help with a solution as I have just bough MJ and am stuck!
