Pane Position per View Scheme
« on: April 18, 2008, 10:52:20 pm »

Can pane positions (Left, Top, Right) be remembered per view scheme?

On a purely logical basis, the current way it is stored for the whole app doesn't make sense.
If I have an image view and put it on the sides, why would I then want it like this for all other views (eg my audio ones)?

I dont really see any gain for having it effect all view schemes when changing it in one.

I'd like to see this combined with the view layout saving.

Me too but I'd be happy if it just remembered it.
I'm thinking aim small = more likely to happen ;)

Aim high, you'll be happy if they meet you half way - ecstatic if they go the whole way ;D

Surprisingly quiet this thread.

Wondering how many people have actually played with MC's layout much and even tried panes on the right and using it for images?
I know I hadn't until Doof's threads which got me curious so I tried it and found myself shocked by how much I loved it.
Before that I hadn't much.

You a Dylan fan too Matt? Someone at JRiver must be, there's Dylan references all over the place!!
Sadly, I've only seen him live twice. One of those was in Glasgow where he 'double-billed' with Van Morrison. That was not so good, imvho.
Live at the Edinburgh Playhouse was much, much better. YAY!
