How can I make a mass change of attributes?

For some reason over have of my music attributes was changed. I can't save any files I have made changes to due to the files being read only.  Can any one help me.

What if you select the folder they are in? At least when hiding files, windows asks if you want to do this for subfiles and folders as well.

I have over 3,000 Dir. with over 19,000 worth of music and slowly make progress cleaning up and puff I can't save my work!

You can change this in Explorer under Properties. 

Please try a google search on windows-read-only or similar.
