Expanded tile view for Music Library?
« on: April 28, 2008, 04:29:36 pm »

Does anyone know if there is a way to display a library in MC with an expanded tile view similar to that in Windows Media Player 11?

As it is, MC seems to display album art very tiny if I want to see all the other fields in my music, such as artist, name, album, comment, genre, etc.
I'd like to have album art bigger, and then use multiple lines (both rows and columns) to display the mentioned fields.  Does anyone know if there is a way to do that with the custom views already?  I certainly can't figure it out.

Explore the View menu and the options at the top of each window.

I've done that and fiddled with all the different settings, but I can never quite find the view I'm looking for.  If I set the album view, I just get albums side by side.  I want the same setup as the default detail view, but with larger art and multiple lines for tag data.  Does everyone know what I'm talking about when I refer to the WMP11 expanded tile view?  I would like something just like that.

From the menu at the top of any library view, try choosing:
Group > Album

You'll need to be in Panes / Details for it to appear.
