Does Theater View allow the same sorting as the view schemes it lets you load? Seems like this still is not an option. I'd like to use Theater View more but the views aren't sorted like my custom view schemes. I'd also liketo be able to remove Tile text and have bigger, less-spaced Tiles too.  These limit my current use of Theater View, and make 'normal' Tile views more appealing for album cover viewing for me across genres and media types.

I just realized that if View Schemes do not have "Populate Tree" enabled, they won't show up in Theater View. Is this by design?

I still can't sort the way I want. For example, you can't use Theater View to see albums ordered by Album Artist (auto), they are always ordered by album name.

I don't understand why all the View schemes we create are listed in in Theater View if if they don't obey the same sorting, it's technically a different "view" scheme.

1. That works perfectly fine for me, what version  do you run? I have .514. I assume you have "show in theater view".. (i know, just have to ask...)

2. Not in my view, afaik.

3. I have experienced the same problem. I have a view with search-list where the result is randomized by the view. This does not work in "Theater View", and is a bit annoying. Of course, the ctrl-r works, but newbies dont know that.

except for the last step the sorting is the same as the one you get when watching panes.
to get the most out of theaterview, i made a view scheme called theaterview, and in that view i made several views especialy made for theaterview (with for instance an extra album pane, which i dont need in standard view  .
this view scheme i made as default when i get in thv.
the fact that thv sorts as in panes is a bit crappy in my opinion. it should be the most visual beautiful part of mc, but because of this i get strange, even ugly items to choose when in thv. for instance a list that gives me the new records from the last 12 months gets
806 - June
805 - May
etc
in standard view this is never a problem.

The views I can achieve in Tile modes look better and provide better usability for me. I'd also like to see Tile size in Theater View adjustable.
