Task Bar Pop Up - Vista

Running vista 32 bit...when I'm in theatre mode the task bar will pop up / flash every once in a while.  It will go on for about 1 minute, the media centre will minimize for about 15 seconds then it will come back.  This happens will both m2t and mkv files.

Any suggestions?
