"Rename Files from Properties" Suddenly Missing
« on: June 29, 2008, 05:52:00 pm »

Using version .512. Went to do this Library Tool (as I have done hundreds of times in the past) and now it does not appear under Library Tools.

Most recent change = updated to version .512.

Any ideas?

It's now known as "rename, move & copy files".

It does all that "rename files from properties" did, plus a whole lot more!  ;D

Be sure to look at the drop down menu at the top left so that you're informed of what changes will be made, and how, before you click the final "ok".

Thank you. That was quick!

I saw the new tool name but when I opened the tool, the "Rule" dropdown list in the filename field was empty, and clicking in that field did not bring up the various options.

Anyway, I relaunched the program and now all is well. Thanks for your help!

You're welcome. I got lucky in that I was in the forum anyway, saw your post and remembered asking myself the same thing a few months ago.  Fortunately I knew the answer. :)
