Ipod Nano & Media Jukebox

does this do just about the same as
Media Player with a nano and adding and syncing to the pod?

I don't know what you meant by "the same as windows media player" but Media Jukebox can sync, copy, move and delete music from iPods, including Nanos. I use it with my Nano 3G without any single problem and i'm happy with the way it handles transfers. I don't sync, because i like to change music  lot, but the sync feature work well.

I'm iTunes free. Well, almost, as i use a customized version of iTunes just to drag Videos because i can tag them as Music Video, etc.
