After adding GPS informations using GeoSetter and ExifTool the date is no more recognized by MC12.
Other applications Nikon View, Picasa, Ulead Photoimpact, GeoSetter and even MC10.173 can still read the date. Only MC12 writes the file date into the date tag.

For my understanding: When does MC12 add tags to images ? I don't want to add tags to my files automatically. Can I tell MC not to write to my images ?
Which Tags are removed by the remove tag command ? Just the MC tags ?

Hi Jim

This can be recognized with 12.0.487 and also the latest build I've downloaded two days ago.

I have here an example Image. Imported into MC10.0.173 it lists 1999/02701 01:02. This strange date is exactly what I've entered using ExifTool. Imported into MC12.0.487 it is reported as 2008/07/15. This is the file attribute reported from the OS.

Can I send you this image ?

Even if it seems that I'm the only one, which encountered this problem, I'm pretty sure that it is one. I'd like to supply sample images.
