MJ 8 crashes on W2000Pro

I have been running MJ7 very stabily on my machine, (PII 400 128RAM),under Windows 2000 Pro. but upon installing MJ 8 2 weeks ago, every time I try to use MJ to play music the system crashes and re-boots. I have Win Media Player and Real Player installed and they seem to function OK. I also useKazaa which uses MJ by default. Any help would be very much appreciated. One other thing which may well be relevant, I recently installed an LG CD-RW Recorder & DVD ROM GCC-4120B which is a brand new model, to replace my existing CD-ROM

MJ Runs Good On Windows XP Home And Windows XP Pro (
I Have Both).

You Might Try Uninstalling MJ Along With Registry When It Asks You. And Reinstall MJ8 8.0.336

Maybe try the latest version from our downloads page, but MJ 8 runs fine on Win2k.

I'm running MJ8 with Win2kPro and the LG-GCC4120B with no problems apart from it won't play DVD's. Could you post your system info (Help->System Info) so we can have some more details?

I've been running MJ8 on both Win 2K Pro and Win XP Pro for many months with no crash-related issues.
