Can my IPOD not be an IPOD?
« on: August 26, 2008, 05:00:45 pm »

I run Rockbox on my IPOD and would love to sync using JR Media Center and not have media center put the files into the ipod file structure? Instead I would like it to just do a straight copy without the files being renamed.  Is that possible?

If your ipod can be mounted as a hard drive (iphone and touch cannot), then you should be able to set up a generic device under the handheld options.  Point it to the drive letter of the device and define the folder structure where you want things in the options window.
