Hi

Just wondering what has changed in MC13 to installing plugins?

I've been trying to get my Last.Fm DJ plugin to work with the current beta but I can't get it to load the plugin, i just get 'the interface plugin... could not be found or created'

Are there extra registry keys or other things that need to be added or is it just MC13 being buggy?

Older plug-ins may read or write the registry in the wrong location.  Could that be the problem?

I currently have my registry values in the following directory:

HKLM\software\j. river\media jukebox\plugins\interface\lastfmDJ

within this there are:
company, prodID, copyright, IVersion, PluginMode, URL, Version

This works fine for both Jukebox 12 and Media Center 12 but i get the error mentioned earlier for MC13

I've tried putting the keys in
HKLM\software\j. river\media center 13\plugins\interface\lastfmDJ

but this gives the same effect.

My dll file is in the directory C:\program files\j river\Media Center 13\plugins\LastFmDJ\

Any ideas?

There's a known bug in MC13, which will be resolved in later builds stopping .NET plugins from registering.  MC12 compatible plugins should remain compatible with future builds of 13.
