Music plays too fast sometimes

About one in five songs or so will start playing too fast in my MC12. When this happens I can move the progress bar back to the beginning of the song and it will play normally. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

Before I upgraded my PC, I used to get stuttering music at times but this is different.
