Are Dual Tuners and FM Radio supported?
« on: September 24, 2008, 11:01:05 am »

I am currently using a MyHD MDP-130 tuner card for receiving over-the-air HDTV. I can only use it with its own software, so it can't integrate as well with MC. I am looking at purchasing a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250. This has dual tuners and also has an FM tuner. If I use this with MC, will I only be able to use one tuner or are dual tuners supported? Also, is the FM tuner supported in MC? My wife listens to FM radio a lot during the day and she currently just uses a little radio. I would like her to be able to use the HTPC and MC to tune and listen to FM radio.

I'd also like to have FM tuner support in MC.

Dual tuners are supported via MC's implementation of playback zones only. FM tuners are not yet supported.

There may be some work going on in both these areas though for MC13.
