Music video
« on: October 01, 2008, 04:45:41 am »

Not sure if it's ok to ask here but, I've got quite a few music (concert ect..) DVD's.  Too much work to go through all the menus to hear one song off a disk.  Is there an easy way to rip my DVDs to the HD and access them as individual videos?

i guess it would be nice, if possible, if mc would read the chapters from video files and store that in the database. that way people could give them names and start for instance songs from there. i putted something like that in the 13 request thread. i guess that would be a really interesting feature.

mkv (matroska) is a format (container) that allows for chapters, subtitles etc in a single file. As far as I'm aware, there are only a couple of containers that are this powerful - I think ogm is another
