New iPod Nano... is it compatible with JR
« on: September 15, 2008, 04:24:09 pm »

Just got the new iPOD Nano that came out last week.   I get an error message from JR when it tried to look at the ipod..  Does anyone know if MC is supporting the NEW ipods?

No.  Anything new from Apple is not supported.

Say Jim........
There was no follow up on the "in the future" question. Just wondering are JRiver and Apple not playing together anymore. I was thinking of getting a 120gb classic but I love my JRiver. So...... am I going to have to make a decision between a new iPod and JRiver??
Thanks,

I'm also in the market for a new portable media player but with me there is no choice... if MC can't sync it I wont get it.  ;D I was thinking of getting a 160gb iPod, Cowon Q5W or Archos. If anyone has any suggestion for a player please feel free to give me advice. I'm looking for a player with large disc space, great sound and very reliable.

I've heard that Cowon has terrible customer service... can anyone confirm?

Just wondering......... I hate to shell out the cash and not have support from JRiver.
Thanx,
