hey Yaobing,
Whats the ultimate solution....,
Is there any provision tht I can record continuously without utilizing hard disk spcace....
That is called "time-shifting". It will use some disk space, but will not exhaust your space. You set a limit on how much data to keep - it can be as little as one hour. You can pause/resume, seek forward/backward.
OR
explain time shift tht u were pointing.......,
Open "TV Options" property pages. Click "Recording" tab. Choose a Recording Profile, but you may be better off creating a custom recording profile - by clicking Add button and follow the wizard. Creating a custom recording profile allows you to select your own video and audio compression methods, if available.
You can change how much data MC keeps during time-shifting, by changing the value of "Time-shifting window". It defaults to 5 hours I think. You can change it to 1 hour if you have limited hard disk space. I can even tell you a registry value to change so you can make it below 1 hour if you really lack space.
